Black Issues Book Review presents National Book Club Conference
August 24-25th, 2007 NBCC – Chicago, IL. Black Issues Book Review presented their National Book Club Conference held on Friday and Saturday, August 24 and 25, 2007, in downtown Chicago at the beautifully renovated InterContinental Hotel.
Hundreds of book club members including UB&M, vendors, publishers and Book Industry professionals were engaged in dialogue with some of the nation's leading African American authors, including Kimberla Lawson Roby, Reshonda Tate Billingsley, Tina McElroy Ansa, Mary Morrison, Virginia DeBerry and Donna Grant.
